The problem

The client was expanding into Poultry Production with a completely integrated poultry farm to include state of the art Hatcheries, Broiler Houses, Production and Rendering facilities.

The first of its kind in the middle east, this single building mega production plant was being designed to slaughter approx. 400,000 chickens a day. It was essential that an efficient custom built cleaning system was designed and installed to minimize cleaning time and maximize production.

Technical challenges included, the sheer project size and hygiene satellites that could handle 5 x utilities of hot and cold water, detergent, sanitizer and air from a central location

There had never been a project of this size in the middle east before; located 670kms from the main business capital Riyadh also presented a challenge.

The solution

Reza Hygiene’s design and engineering team designed a system zoned for each of the three production lines and peripheral areas. These three custom built systems were serviced from a central location with all chemicals dosed automatically and with all its utilities. These were connected to a custom-built bulk delivery system.

The three-hygiene systems utility were all interlocked to each other so that in the event of any malfunction, cleaning of all areas throughout the plant could still be maintained.

Reza Hygiene had an on-site office with a team of 15 technical staff. Over 12 Kms of stainless steel piping was installed to service all 190 cleaning Satellite stations.

The Result

The project was completed on time and within budget to the customer’s complete satisfaction.

To this date, an on-site technician is available 24 hours around the clock for PPM and any emergency technical support.

The customer is extremely happy with the past 5 years of faultless service, supply and customer staff training support.
