The problem

The Meat Producer provides a wide range of meat products including a smoked meat range to both the consumer market and catering industry. They were having difficulty finding the right product and process to remove heavy carbonized soils on the surfaces of their industrial smokehouses.

The problem was:

1. Heavy soiling with deep brown carbonized soiling on the smoke house internal surfaces.
2. Large amount of time and manpower to manually deep clean.
3. Poor cleaning result.

The solution

Reza Hygiene technical support staff demonstrated a mobile foam generating machine which applied a special smokehouse foaming high alkaline detergent which clings to vertical surfaces allowing contact time for the detergent to work on dissolving the hardened soil.

The Result

The results were quite dramatic resulting in :

1. Cleaning & sanitation achieved by one man with a total cleaning time of 20 minutes.
2. A dramatic reduction in total manpower time.
3. Less downtime, allowing for faster use of the smokehouse, thereby higher productivity.
